Responsibilities
This TTO supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools. The TTO is performed out of the Peraton facility and offers flexible hours.
The team is seeking a highly motivated software engineer to:
- Support development and define software solutions to support a data tracking and metrics solution.
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with systems engineers and developers across projects to support the planning, design, development, and utilization of a final product recommendation.
- Work directly with the customer and team to evolve requirements and support the creation and presentation of design documents and product demonstrations.
- Product evaluation, integration, testing and design process for data tracking and metrics solutions.
- Participate in Agile development activities, to include Sprint planning, scheduling, and Jira ticket management.
- Ensure software standards and best practices are utilized.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required.
- Bachelors degree and at least two (2) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution. An additional 4 years of experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Shall have at least one (1) year of experience developing software using Java.
- Shall have demonstrated ability to work with OpenSource (NoSQL) products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as Spring Boot.
- Shall have demonstrated work experience with serialization such as JSON and/or BSON.
- Shall have demonstrated work experience developing Restful services.
Desired Qualifications: Experience with the following:
• Cloud Developer Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification.
• API
• Creating/modifying workflows
• JIRA
- Cloud Technologies
- XML and other data formats
- Researching software solutions
- Working with User Interface

Target Salary Range
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
