DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a full-time, minimum 40 hours per week, “on-site”, self-motivated, reliable, and hard-working individual. This position handles loading/unloading trucks, assists with staging deliveries, maintaining a pipe yard, assists with warehouse order staging/stocking/sales counter, and reports to the Warehouse Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Safe and efficient loading, unloading and building of outgoing shipments of pipe and equipment
•Regularly maintains a clean and organized pipe yard plus assists in similar tasks for the warehouse
•Receiving, stocking of incoming inventory and shipping of on-hand inventory
•Safely and responsibly operates a forklift
•Safely operates banding equipment, tools and other necessary facility equipment
•Participates in and supports inventory and “inventory control” activities
•Perform other related duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Minimum of 6 months yard and warehouse experience
•Forklift training provided and must be able to pass forklift certification requirements
•Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
•Physical demands of lifting, standing, climbing, and bending
•Ability to anticipate work needs and multi-tasking activities
•Capable of working independently and in a fast-paced environment
•Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both verbal and written
•Punctual, dependable, and self-driven
