Performs the finishing/painting of furniture units from a kit of components previously prepared and tailored for finishing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Product completion per Production Schedule
• Meet all critical product characteristics and color matching master sample.
• Maintain work station clean, organized and safe.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required.
• Maintain the time sheet accurate and on time.
• Observe all company policies and standard practices.
• Participate on all required continuous improvement activities.

Required Skills Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of previous experience of wood finishing techniques such:
• Staining (oil and water base)
• Toning
• Sealing
• Top coating
• Sanding and buffing.
• Reading and understanding mixing specifications.
• Proficient using equipment and hand tools such:
• Spraying guns.
• Use of spraying booths.
• Sanders.
• Polishing machines.

Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment while managing multiple projects. Strong attention to detail and flawless results. Ability to communicate with multiple levels within an organization and be a team member. A high school diploma or equivalent (GED), or work experience which demonstrates performance competency.
