Position: RN-NICU-Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-NICU-Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week contract in Lubbock, Texas — earn up to ($2013 - $2119 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU.

  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and health status regularly.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

  • Educate families on neonatal care and health management.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

  • Evaluate and adjust care based on patient progress and feedback.

  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

  • Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

  • Utilize data to track patient outcomes and identify areas for improvement.

  • Support and mentor junior nursing staff in the NICU.

  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Current RN license in Texas with NICU experience preferred.

  • Ability to assess and monitor neonatal patients effectively.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

  • Strong communication skills for educating families on care.

  • Experience in developing and implementing nursing care plans.

  • Knowledge of safety and infection control protocols.

  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

  • Experience in mentoring or supporting junior nursing staff.

  • Willingness to participate in performance measurement initiatives.

  • Proficient in using data to track patient outcomes.
