• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (General, Eyes, ENT, GYN, Urology, Plastic, Ortho, Sports Medicine, Spine, Neuro, Podiatry)\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/14/2025 – End: 3/15/2026)\n
• Nursing Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07:00 – 15:30)\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Call Requirement: 2-3 days/week & every 4-5 weekends\n
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics\n
• Orientation: 8 hours\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience\n
• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state nursing license (required upon submission)\n
• BLS certification (required)\n
• Epic charting system experience (preferred)\n
• Proficiency in robotic, orthopedic, neuro, and general surgical procedures\n
• Ability to participate in scheduled call rotation, including weekends\n
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)\n
• Latex allergy cannot be accommodated\n
• Two supervisor references required after offer\n

\n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care during surgical procedures\n
• Circulate and/or scrub for surgeries including robotic, orthopedic, neuro, and general cases\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including rapid response and pharmacy\n
• Operate advanced surgical equipment (DaVinci Xi, Hana Tables, Globus Excelsius GPS Robot)\n
• Follow universal protocols and safety standards\n
• Participate in call rotation as scheduled\n
• Document patient care using Epic charting system\n
• Support specimen handling and labeling, ensuring compliance with facility policies\n
