• Location: York, Pennsylvania (17403) – South Central PA healthcare jobs\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $2050 per week\n
• Contract Length: 13 weeks travel nursing contract\n
• Start Date: December 22, 2025\n
• End Date: March 23, 2026\n
• Shift: Day shifts: 4x10-hour (07:00 – 17:30) or 3x12-hour (07:00 – 19:30)\n
• Hours per Week: 40\n
• Call Requirements: 1-2 calls per week (Mon-Thur), 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks\n
• Patient Population: Neonates, Adolescents, Infants, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics\n
• Unit: 18 Operating Rooms, daily census 50-60 cases\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience\n
• Specialized experience in neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics OR cases\n
• Ability to function independently in Neurosurgery\n
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)\n
• EPIC charting experience required\n
• Experience in Trauma Level II facility required; Level I preferred\n
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n
• First-time travel nurses not accepted\n
• Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutes\n
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract\n
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free\n

\n\nOperating Room Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver perioperative nursing care for neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics surgical cases\n
• Demonstrate proficiency in craniotomy, spinal fusions, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, and minimally invasive surgeries\n
• Administer blood and blood products, manage wound care, and handle surgical specimens\n
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control, fire safety, and universal protocol procedures\n
• Respond to code situations and surgical emergencies\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, respiratory, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services\n
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekday and weekend call shifts\n
• Provide care for COVID-19 patients as needed\n
