\n\nQualifications – Mammography Technologist\n

\n
• High School Diploma or equivalent required\n
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist\n
• Registered Technologist (R) or Registered Technologist (R)(M) with ARRT certification\n
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification\n
• Strong knowledge of breast anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology\n
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations, quality control, and quality assurance standards for mammography\n

\n\nKey Responsibilities – Mammography Tech\n

\n
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using ionizing radiation in accordance with established protocols\n
• Ensure precise breast positioning, exposure techniques, and accurate evaluation of imaging parameters\n
• Combine technical expertise and patient care to deliver high-quality diagnostic images\n
• Exercise independent professional judgment and critical thinking during imaging procedures\n
• Communicate effectively and provide compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse populations\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development\n
• Maintain compliance with all safety and radiation protection guidelines\n
