Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our systems and networks, employing advanced encryption techniques and security measures in compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of security engineering principles and a commitment to safeguarding our technological infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security protocols for systems and networks to safeguard against vulnerabilities.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing security measures in compliance with DoD requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential security threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into product design and development processes.
  • Lead security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in systems security engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of encryption technologies and protocols.
  • Experience with FPGA design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with DoD security requirements and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Secret clearance is ideal
