Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Lighting Designer. The role is remote with travel back to our office in Indio, CA. The Senior Lighting Designer will be responsible for project-specific lighting design, photometrics, architectural lighting, and interior design. Day-to-day tasks will include meeting with clients with a sales rep, creating and reviewing designs, and ensuring designs meet all relevant codes and standards. It is important to maintain relevancy within the lighting world and continue to use new styles and trends within lighting.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Lighting Control and Lighting Design
• 5 years minimum of lighting design experience within hospitality, retail, and high end restaurants
• Realistic rendering experience is a plus
• 5 years minimum of Autocad experience
• 3 years minimum Revit experience
• Proficiency in Architectural Lighting and Lighting for various environments
• Technical lighting knowledge is needed to discuss with clients
• English as first language
• Experience in Interior Design
• Strong project management and client communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• Professional certification in lighting design (e.g., LC, NCQLP) preferred
