Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Providing speech-language support for elementary school students in a full-time, semester-long contract role, this position is ideal for licensed professionals passionate about making a difference in inclusive school settings. You will work onsite, splitting your time between two elementary schools, supporting a diverse group of students with varying disability-related needs within an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to elementary school students across a range of disabilities
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate speech goals into daily classroom activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports aligned with school policies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
• Adhere to district requirements including background checks and fingerprinting

Qualifications:

• SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; consideration given to Clinical Fellows (CF)
• Active Connecticut licensure to practice speech-language pathology
• Previous experience in school-based speech-language pathology roles
• Ability to manage caseloads across multiple school sites
• Successful completion of district fingerprinting and background clearance
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with onsite collaboration

Work Details:

• Locations: Split between two elementary schools in New Haven area; specific sites to be determined
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 35 hours per week
• Contract Duration: Full semester from ASAP to June 9, 2026
• Two openings available
