ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with experience in mammography and breast biopsies to provide ongoing part-time locum coverage in a facility in Northern CA. This role focuses on reading all imaging modalities, with an emphasis on diagnostic mammograms and performing breast biopsies. PET scan reading ability is a plus, and providers must meet MQSA requirements (minimum 960 mammograms interpreted every 24 months).

Commitment: One week every other month
Duration: 6 9 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Call: No call required
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Duties Include:
Reading all radiology modalities: CTs, MRIs, X-rays, ultrasounds
Diagnostic mammograms and breast biopsies (including wire localization)
Reading PET scans (preferred)
Basic interventional procedures if capable (paracentesis, thoracentesis, drains, etc.)
Support from techs and radiology staff
Option to send studies to MRG Teleradiology if outside comfort zone

Diagnostic Mammograms: 30
Procedures (biopsies, wire localization): 13
EMR: Cerner
Support Staff: Radiology techs, ultrasound techs, and other clinical staff
Reason for Coverage: Recent radiologist resignation
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology Required
MQSA Compliant (minimum 960 mammograms in last 24 months) Required
State Medical License Required
Residency in Diagnostic Radiology Required
