24HourNurse is offering Local or Travel RN Contract Assignments at Kansas Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Hospitals
Position: Psych RN
Location: Larned, KS
Pay: $62 local or $65 blended travel rate. OT is 1.5x
Shift: 10hr (4 days/week) or 12 hr shifts (alternating 3 & 4 days/week), depending on unit assignment. Must be open to days or nights, most new contractors will be placed on night shift. Will get assigned shift during orientation. Mandation is possible.
10 hr shift times are 0600-1630, 1230-2300, or 2045-0645. 0600-1830 and 1800-0630.
12 hr shifts. Time are 0600-1830 and 1800-0630.
Length: 17 weeks for first contract (4 weeks orientation/training and 13 weeks independent), extensions may be up to 6 months.
Orientation groups start about 2x per month. RNs may start orientation while background check is pending.
Orientation is 8a-5p. The New Employee orientation (NEO) is six days total. The Nursing orientation (NO) is about nine days so a total of 15 days which does not include On the Job Training (OJT). OJT is 12 hour shift, on the shift they will be working. You can not miss any orientation.
