We are looking for a Podcast Audio & Video Content Creator to join the team!
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create video podcast content that aligns with the brand, target audience, and business goals
Edit/produce video pieces using Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop
Produce, shoot, and edit engaging short and long-form video content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), Snapchat, YouTube and TikTok
Write compelling scripts and concise copy that resonate with the target audience
Use analytics and social media insights to monitor the performance of content and make data-driven optimizations
Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the content stays innovative and relevant across all verticals.
Maintain a consistent brand image and voice across all audio and video media platforms for FOX News Podcasts
Collaborate on innovative video projects and brainstorm ideas to bring in new audiences for Fox's Podcast and Digital Audio Streams & platforms
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the content aligns with overall brand messaging and marketing campaigns
Attend events and produce real-time content in the field, in studio when necessary and approved.
Initiate and troubleshoot live streams & posts to multiple digital platforms
Initiate and troubleshoot LiveU video streams, LiveU encoder/decoder, contributor feeds and guest zooms for live integration in podcast content
Operate Blackmagic switchers
Operate technical equipment, including digital workstations, Live Stream Studio, intercom systems, recording devices, audio consoles
Remain familiar with and able to troubleshoot all technical equipment related to live broadcast and streaming: Lighting, Audio & cameras within podcast environment.
Your Day to Day
Content Production & Editing :
Produce and edit reels, video formats, and podcast segments/episodes/clips.
Package video assets and edit footage into compelling, visually appealing social media storytelling videos that align with trends and audience preferences.
Add social editing optimizations to enhance video products and improve opportunities for virality.
Creative Story Development :
Develop sharp and engaging story angles tailored to FOX News Podcast audience.
Technical Editing & Enhancements :
Apply graphical elements, color correction, and audio and video mixing to deliver high-quality content.
Social Media Expertise :
Leverage a strong understanding of social media culture and trends on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X to create content that resonates with the platform's audiences.
Connecting with talent and hosts to create original direct to consumer content.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, broadcast communications, journalism, or a related field
Proven experience in social media content creation in a fast-paced corporate environment
Strong understanding of all social media platforms and best practices in video content creation
Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling and shareable content
Strong editorial judgment and a commitment to accuracy
Skilled in using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop for vertical video production and graphic templates
Proficient in using social media management/in-app editing tools and analytics platforms
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Passion for social media, digital video and audio marketing and emerging trends in the digital podcast landscape
Confident in working with on-air talent
Flexibility in schedule to shift your schedule as news, events and projects warrant
