We are looking for a Patent Attorney with 5+ years of preparation and prosecution experience to work in the Tucson, Arizona location. The ideal attorney candidate is registered with the USPTO and holds a Ph.D in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a related field of study. The candidate MUST HAVE a well-tuned and broad understanding of science, the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action, an excellent academic record, a great work ethic, effective writing skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills to work well with team members and clients, superior judgment, and the ability to effectively handle multiple projects. The ideal candidate MUST ALSO HAVE at least 5 years of experience with the following: global patent prosecution and portfolio management, freedom to operate, licensing and other technology transactions, and IP due diligence related to merger and acquisitions. We look for dynamic and entrepreneurial individuals with various backgrounds, interests, and experiences for a diverse candidate pool. This position is available for well-performing attorney who would like to be promoted to a partnership-track position. Work Schedule and Benefits. Full-time position, Exempt. Pay Range is $150,000 – $180,000 and bonus opportunities.
