This position is responsible for preparing and assembling research meals for the DCRU (Dahms Clinical Research Unit) research studies.

\n
• Reviewing patient diet orders, assuring At Your Request Food service is correctly implemented.
\n
• Collecting and documenting daily activities in a computer database and maintaining service records and inventory for kitchen equipment.
\n
• Inputting data into nutrition analysis software programs
\n
• Performing body composition measurements and administering nutrition questionnaires under supervision
\n
• Procuring special study foods both internally and externally. Exhibits competency in working with patients of various age groups
\n

• Performs other duties as assigned.
\n
• Complies with all policies and standards.
\n
• For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
\n
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
