Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on student assessments and requirements.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff to provide integrated support.
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records to track academic and social development.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address concerns.
• Ensure compliance with special education laws, policies, and regulations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Certification in special education teaching.
• Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings, preferably across multiple grade levels.
• Ability to manage diverse classroom environments and use differentiated instruction techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with students, parents, and staff.
• Knowledge of behavioral management strategies and assistive technology tools.
