Role

Our client is seeking a Media & PR Partner to lead communications strategy and amplify its story across top-tier media. This role will shape the external narrative, build strong relationships with leading journalists, and position the leadership team and portfolio companies as thought leaders in AI and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute media and PR strategy for the holding company and its portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with top-tier journalists, editors, and producers.
• Craft messaging and positioning aligned with strategic goals.
• Write and place thought leadership pieces, interviews, and op-eds.
• Oversee press releases, media briefings, and launch communications.
• Manage brand reputation and crisis response.
• Secure speaking opportunities and media features to elevate visibility.

Ideal Profile

• Former journalist or senior editor at a leading business or tech publication (e.g., WSJ, Bloomberg, Forbes, The Information).
• Deep understanding of venture ecosystems, startup storytelling, and AI trends.
• Strong media relationships in tech/business circles.
• Exceptional writing and narrative development skills.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling stories.
• Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
