Assistant Cross Country Coach 2025-2026

Location: Barnwell High School

School Year: 2025-2026

Essential duties of this position include the following:

1. Follow and maintain knowledge of all District policies and procedures.
2. Follow and maintain knowledge of South Carolina High School League policies and procedures.
3. Instruct and demonstrate skill sets and techniques necessary for individual and team achievement.
4. Develop appropriate training programs and practice schedules.
5. Schedule non-region games and transportation for away games.
6. Ensure that all sport equipment and uniforms are properly stored and maintained.
7. Enforce discipline policies and emphasize sportsmanship.
8. Maintain a safe environment for student athletes at all times.
9. Interact thoughtfully and courteously with students, staff, parents, fellow coaches, and officials.
10. Resolve conflicts in a professional manner.
11. Communicate effectively with the Athletic Director and Principal.
