Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our Lead Mission Critical Team. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and code compliance of fire sprinkler systems across a wide range of facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting, testing, maintaining, and servicing various sprinkler systems, and possess strong knowledge of NFPA 25 and other applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on a variety of fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, foam, and special hazard systems.
• Diagnose issues and identify code violations or system deficiencies; perform minor repairs when appropriate.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of clean agent and special hazard fire protection systems.
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA 25, local fire codes, and customer-specific requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding system status, functionality, and recommended improvements.
• Complete and submit accurate inspection reports, service tickets, and other required documentation promptly.
• Schedule and manage service calls efficiently to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain company tools, service vehicles, and equipment in safe and working condition.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while working on job sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NICET Level II certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems (preferred or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).
• Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes, especially NFPA 25.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if operating company vehicles).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in awkward positions.
• Must be comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including fall protection, respirators, gloves, and safety glasses.
