Job Summary:

The Events and Promotions Manager is responsible for assisting local businesses with partnership opportunities, developing, organizing, and executing events and promotional campaigns that increase brand awareness, enhance customer engagement, and increase sales. This role requires a strong understanding of the local community, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop innovative event concepts that align with the company brand and target audience.


• Develop and coordinate all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor management, and logistics.


• Oversee and represent the company at community events and networking functions ensuring execution and enjoyable experiences


• Develop and execute creative promotions and contests to drive audience engagement and client loyalty in collaboration with other departments.


• Track promotion performance and analyze results to optimize future campaigns.


• Build, maintain, and identify strong relationships and opportunities with local businesses and individuals in the community


• Create and manage the event budget, allocating funds, and monitoring expenses


• Explore opportunities for sponsorships and partnerships to generate additional revenue.


• Delegate tasks effectively and provide guidance and support.


• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.


• Minimum of three years of experience in event planning and management.


• Strong understanding of the local community and its demographics.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Creative problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.


• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and proof of insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the media industry.


• Knowledge of social media marketing and digital platforms.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.
