Job Summary:
We are seeking entry-level Wash Plant/Equipment Operators to monitor and operate machinery at our frac sand wash plant, including our mine and sizing facilities. This role may occasionally involve operating heavy machinery, with training provided on specific equipment. Your primary work location will be in Bainville, MT, with a new site opening in 2025 near Williston, ND. You will assist in the operation and maintenance of the wash plant, ensuring efficient processes while complying with safety regulations. Collaboration and a willingness to learn are essential.
Responsibilities:
You will monitor and operate equipment for washing and processing frac sand, conduct regular inspections to address maintenance needs, and keep production and maintenance records. Working with your team, you will troubleshoot issues and improve production processes while monitoring water and chemical usage for compliance. Following safety protocols is crucial, as is participation in training programs to enhance your skills related to wash plant operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates should be mechanically inclined, have a general knowledge of hand tools, and possess experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong communication and teamwork skills are important, along with basic math abilities for calculations. You should be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform tasks such as shoveling and climbing. Attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, are essential. Comfort with outdoor work in varying weather conditions is also required.
