Job Description
We are a leading restaurant group in Fort Lauderdale known for our exceptional food and top-notch event services. As we continue to expand our catering and event offerings, we are looking for a passionate and driven Catering & Event Marketing Specialist or experience pharmaceutical representatives to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a critical role in promoting and growing our catering services across various industries and seasonal opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
· Sales & Promotion: Proactively generate new catering leads and sales opportunities through direct outreach (calls & in-person meetings).
· Customer Engagement: Develop strong relationships with potential and existing clients through consistent follow-ups and surprise visits to build trust and long-term partnerships.
· Market Targeting: Identify and pursue industry-specific catering opportunities, focusing on key sectors such as corporate events, healthcare, schools, holiday parties, graduations, and more.
· Collaboration with Marketing & Operations: Work closely with the internal marketing and operations teams to plan, promote, and execute flawless events, ensuring seamless coordination from start to finish.
· Trend Identification: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive offerings to identify new sales channels and growth opportunities in the catering market.
What We’re Looking For:
· Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to connect and build rapport with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
· Strong Organizational Skills: Manage multiple projects with a high degree of organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
· Proactive & Self-Motivated: Ability to take initiative and work independently to drive results, with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
· Industry Knowledge: A background in the food/restaurant industry is highly preferred, though not required.
· Professionalism & Presentation: Maintain a polished and professional appearance with reliable transportation for off-site client meetings and event supervision.
· Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in video conferencing tools, CRM systems, and basic marketing software is a plus.
