Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and driven Construction Project Manager to lead and manage government-funded multi-family and affordable housing construction projects . The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with all agency and municipal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met.
• Coordinate with public agencies (e.g., HPD, HDC, NYCHA, DASNY), design teams, subcontractors, and internal staff.
• Create and maintain project schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and contract requirements, including prevailing wage, Davis-Bacon Act, Section 3, and MWBE participation .
• Lead jobsite visits, safety inspections, and project meetings.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction , with specific experience in affordable housing and public agency-funded projects in New York.
• Demonstrated experience working with NYC/State housing agencies.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, project controls, public bidding procedures, and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam ).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
