Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join their client's team in North Carolina. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of HVAC systems across various locations throughout Eastern NC, with the majority in the RDU Area. The ideal candidate will be adept at diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC systems independently and will contribute to both service and maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance tasks, including painting, facility cleaning, and furniture repairs.
• Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems, utilizing training and experience.
• Repair basic plumbing, electrical, and safety systems as needed.
• Assess and perform maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment, walk-in coolers, ice machines, and cooking equipment.
• Provide guidance on maintaining equipment and adapting to emergencies with flexibility.
• Review and maintain tickets on FreshDesk, ensuring technology and computer skills are applied effectively.
• Diagnose HVAC issues, obtain necessary parts, and execute repairs promptly and independently.
• Utilize multimeter tools to safely handle high voltage systems and perform necessary repairs.
• Engage in 90% service and maintenance tasks, with 10% involving installations and equipment updates.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal certification is required.
• Must have dependable transportation and basic tools.
• Ability to work independently without supervision and comfort in servicing equipment on roofs.
• Proficiency in using multimeter tools and a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, including refrigeration.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Additional Details

This position is a supervisory role with a pay range of $26 to $32 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and possess excellent problem-solving skills to address HVAC-related issues efficiently.
