A Brief Overview
The CNC Operator will set up and operate machines to produce precision parts. This person will ensure the setup and operation is efficient, safe, and produces quality products. A high degree of problem-solving and extreme care, skilled workmanship, and accuracy are required.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00/hour

What you will do

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
• Operate vacuum lift for loading CNC machine
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Test operation of machines periodically
• Fix issues that might occur during shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Verify specifications by measuring completed component
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Works in a safe manner always and consistently provide a safe work environment.
• Ensures adherence to all State and Federal guidelines and Industry regulations
