Visit our Careers page to learn more. About The Role We’re looking for a US-based Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team and help lead Elfie through its next phase of global growth. This role combines capital markets leadership, international finance oversight, and strategic business partnership. You’ll lead our Series B fundraising, manage cross-border financial operations spanning 9 legal entities, and co-build the future of our finance function — in close collaboration with our Southeast Asia-based Director of Finance Operations. What You’ll Do Strategic Finance & Capital Markets

• Lead our Series B fundraising and future capital raise efforts
• Own investor materials, financial models, scenario planning, and board reporting
• Act as the primary liaison for US and international investors and financial partners

Global Financial Leadership

• Oversee all financial planning, cash flow management, audits, and tax compliance
• Consolidate reporting across 8 global entities (VN, SG, US, FR, MX, BR, HK, EG)
• Lead intercompany structuring and global transfer pricing strategy

Organizational Development

• Mentor and scale the global finance team, including FP&A, tax, treasury, and compliance
• Partner with our SEA-based Director of Finance Operations to drive local execution
• Define the future finance org structure, including US-based hiring roadmap

Business & Operational Partnership

• Advise Product, Growth, and Ops leaders on pricing, unit economics, GTM
• Develop KPIs that drive financial discipline and real-world impact
• Serve as the finance counterpart in cross-functional strategic planning

What You’ll Need Experience

• 10–20 years in finance, including time as CFO or VP Finance
• Proven track record leading Series B+, IPO prep, or M&A processes
• US capital markets knowledge and strong investor network preferred
• Early career in investment banking, Big 4, or strategy consulting a strong plus

Mindset

• Hands-on operator with a builder’s mentality — willing to get into the details
• Skilled at working across time zones, cultures, and legal jurisdictions
• Comfortable leading through ambiguity and scaling systems from scratch

Education

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• MBA, CPA, or CFA a strong advantage
