CAD Application Support Consultant
Onsite – Overland Park, KS
US Citizenship required
Will provide L2 & L3 support as well as administration, installation, configuration, license management, troubleshooting, end user support, vendor coordination, etc.
Skillset required:
• 3 to 5 years minimum experience
• Bachelors degree required (BS, BE, BE Engineering)
• Prior experience in Application Technical Support and IT support
• In depth knowledge of the Engineering application/CAD and license management configuration, server configuration, etc.
• Knowledge on any of the minimum three of the following applications:
o Autodesk (AutoCAD)
o Revit
o AutoCAD plant 3D
o Civil 3D
o BIM 360
o Autodesk Construction Cloud Autodesk Vault
o Trimble Tekla
o Bentley application (Bentley STAAD Structural CONNECT , Bentley View, MicroStation
o AVEVA applications (PDMS/ E3D)
o Creo
o Bluebeam
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution for the end users
• Application packaging documentation preparation and deployment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Problem identification and problem-solving skills.
• Readiness to collaborate with client to solve the issues
• Flexible to work in rotational shifts
• Assist clients with technical support and recommend solutions to address their needs
• Analyze the tickets raised and bring them to closure as a priority.
• Knowledge of remote access system
• Willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
• Refer to internal database or external resources to provide accurate technical support.
