Looking for an Addictions Medicine physician to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals struggling with addiction in Chicago.Responsibilities:Manage cases involving co-occurring substance abuse disorder and chronic pain Initiate and maintain methadone and buprenorphine treatmentsProvide substance use disorder treatment to launch an inpatient addiction medicine consult service 4 days a week in a Hospital environmentServe patients in ambulatory clinic one day a weekQualifications:Board Certified in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Practice (FP)Previous experience in addiction medicineExpertise in managing opioid use disorderValid IL state medical license.DEA and Controlled Substance License - MAT preferred but not requiredPreferred Skills:Proficiency in methadone maintenance continuation and ongoing maintenanceExperience with buprenorphine initiation and maintenanceJob Location Details:Monday - Friday (either 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm)Adults onlyMalpractice paid
