Overview STS Line Maintenance is hiring highly motivated A&P Mechanics to join our growing line maintenance station in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Responsibilities Report directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads Work in close partnership with airline customers, flight crews, and Maintenance Controllers Ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by all applicable regulations, airworthiness directives, company policies, and best practices Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment Maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, and integrity Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on analysis of test results while following maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documentation Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replace as required Perform additional duties as assigned Work outdoors and in inclement weather as required Support maintenance operations on Airbus A320, Boeing B737, B757, B767, CRJ, and Embraer 170/190 aircraft Qualifications Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no history of infractions Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft considered a plus Previous experience on Boeing 737, 757, 767, Airbus A320, ERJ 145/170/190, or CRJ 700/900 aircraft preferred but not required Must own a complete set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tooling provided) Self-motivated with a positive attitude and capable of performing duties with minimal supervision Must be able to work standing, climb ladders and stairs, and lift 50 lbs. unassisted Must pass a background check and drug and alcohol test Must be able to obtain U.S. Customs and Border Protection clearance Basic-to-mid-level computer and organizational skills required Experience working under a FAA Part 145 repair station or Part 135 environment is highly desired Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus Must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair or replacement of malfunctioning and damaged components Ability to troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic with minimal supervision Must be versatile and flexible to support varied schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Superior customer focus, communication skills, and work ethic with a commitment to excellence Multiple positions available Rate of Pay Determined by previous experience Range: $34 - $42 per hour Benefits Full-time employees receive PTO, Health Insurance, and 401(k) benefits Part-time positions are not benefits-eligible About STS Line Maintenance STS Line Maintenance operates more than 50 line maintenance stations across the United States, Bahamas, and United Kingdom.
